Dr. Navratil is originally from Long Island, New York. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science from Cornell University in 2015, followed by a Master of Science in Applied Animal Behavior and Welfare from the University of Edinburgh in Scotland. During her time in Edinburgh, she discovered her passion for working closely with animals and helping their owners better understand their pets’ natural behaviors.

Motivated by this experience, Dr. Navratil pursued her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at Purdue University, graduating in 2021. She spent over four years at Zionsville Animal Hospital before joining Paw Patch Place as the Managing DVM. Her professional interests include diagnosing and treating behavioral conditions in both dogs and cats, emergency medicine, and soft tissue surgery.

Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Navratil enjoys spending time with her husband, their daughter (born in 2024), and their four beloved pets: a black Lab (Spree), a yellow Lab (Nebbi), and two gray cats (Scout and Luci). In her free time, she enjoys running, hiking, attending Green Bay Packers games, and relaxing at home with a good book and her pets.
