What We Stand For

We are a 2-Doctor, Fear Free Certified, full-service companion animal hospital, serving the community for 30 years. Did you know that The Paw Patch Place was the 1st Fear Free Certified practice in Indiana and the 12th in the world? This means that every single team member (regardless of job title) are fear free certified and dedicated to reducing fear, anxiety, and stress in pets and improving the experience of every human and pet involved.

Our goal is to practice the highest quality veterinary medicine with compassion and an emphasis on client education. We understand the special role pets play in their families and we are dedicated to becoming our client's PARTNER in their pet’s veterinary care. We treat our patients as we would our own pets.

Successful Applicants Will...

*Have at least 2 years experience at a veterinary clinic or Vet assistant/technician degree

Desired Skills and Qualifications

• Safely and properly practice gentle restraint and fear free distraction on feline and canine patients.

• Proficient in the use of food-filled muzzles, towels, and gentle restraint for fearful animals.

• Exam room nursing including preparing vaccines, restraint, nail trims, creating estimates, participating in client education, assisting as directed by team members
