For more than 30 years, we have proudly served our community as a multi-doctor, full-service companion animal hospital. We are also proud to be Fear Free Certified. In fact, The Paw Patch Place was the first Fear Free Certified veterinary practice in Indiana and the 12th in the world.
What does that mean? Every member of our team—regardless of their role—is Fear Free Certified and committed to reducing fear, anxiety, and stress for pets while creating a more positive, comfortable experience for both pets and the people who love them.

*Have at least 2 years experience at a veterinary clinic or Vet assistant/technician degree

Desired Skills and Qualifications
• Safely and properly practice gentle restraint and fear free distraction on feline and canine patients.
• Proficient in the use of food-filled muzzles, towels, and gentle restraint for fearful animals.
• Exam room nursing including preparing vaccines, restraint, nail trims, creating estimates, participating in client education, assisting as directed by team members
